Virat Kohli breaks Sachin Tendulkar's Records with 46th ODI Century

Another impressive performance by Virat Kohli, often referred to as the "run-machine," as he notched

yet another century during a match against Sri Lanka. This particular century, which occurred

during the third match of the series in Trivandrum on Sunday, marked Kohli's 46th ODI century

and also allowed him to break two of Sachin Tendulkar's all-time records. Specifically, Kohli now

holds the record for most ODI centuries at home and for scoring the most hundreds against

a single team in the 50-over format of international cricket. Kohli had previously tied Tendulkar's

record for most ODI hundreds at home when he reached the triple-digit score in the first match

of the series against Sri Lanka in Guwahati. He achieved this milestone in only 99 innings, while Tendulkar

had done so in 160 innings. With his century in the 3rd ODI, Kohli has now surpassed

Tendulkar's tally and holds the record for 21 ODI hundreds at home.
